Profile

Mala Subash is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with broad expertise across general ophthalmology and particular sub-specialty strength in medical retina and cataract surgery of all complexities. She trained extensively at Moorfields Eye Hospital, including a dedicated fellowship in the Medical Retina Service, and has held consultant responsibility within the NHS for over a decade.

She combines this clinical background with senior governance and educational leadership roles — Clinical Governance Lead, College Tutor and Educational Lead — together with a substantial record of peer-reviewed publication.

She has recently completed formal training in report writing for expert witnesses and is building a medico-legal practice, bringing the clinical credibility, analytical rigour and clear written communication that instructing solicitors require.
