Mr. Mishank Jain is a Bond-Solon certified Expert Witness and consultant ophthalmic surgeon specialising in Glaucoma, Cataract Surgery and Refractive Surgery. He provides expert medico-legal reports for claimant and defendant cases, covering matters such as delayed or missed diagnosis of glaucoma, surgical outcomes, consent, ophthalmic complications and standards of ophthalmic care.

Mr. Jain completed his ophthalmic training in London mainly centred around Moorfields Eye hospital and Western Eye Hospital. He has undertaken advanced subspecialty training in glaucoma and cataract surgery. He also holds the Certificate in Laser Refractive Surgery (CertLRS) awarded by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

His clinical practice includes the diagnosis and long-term management of glaucoma, interpretation of visual fields and OCT imaging, laser procedures, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and glaucoma filtration surgery. He has expertise in complex cataract surgery, refractive outcomes, and the management of ophthalmic surgical complications.

Mr. Jain has presented his work nationally and internationally at a variety of conferences. He remains actively involved in postgraduate education, research, and ophthalmic innovation.
